How to use

How to use Reseller Watch

Reseller Watch monitors Amazon for third-party sellers listing Aran Woollen Mills products without permission, so you can spot them and get them removed. Everything you see is live data pulled directly from Amazon — nothing is demo or estimated.

How it works
  • Once a month, the system automatically checks every product on your watchlist against Amazon's US marketplace and records who is selling on each listing, at what price, and who holds the Buy Box.
  • Every scan is banked, so you build a history over time and can see sellers appear and disappear.
  • You can also press "Run scan now" on the Overview at any time to refresh immediately (it runs in the background and takes a few minutes).
  • Current coverage: United States only.
Your main job: actioning unauthorised sellers
  • Open the "Unauthorised sellers" page. Each card is one seller who is NOT on your authorised list.
  • The "Copy email list" button copies a ready-made list — the seller name and every ASIN they're listing on, with product names — so you can paste it straight into an email asking them to remove your products.
  • "Copy ASINs" copies just the ASIN codes.
  • Click any product or seller name to open it directly on Amazon.
  • Use the size label (Large operation / Medium / Small) to prioritise — a "Large operation" is an established seller worth tackling first.
Reading the Overview
  • Active watched ASINs — how many of your products we're monitoring.
  • Catalogue coverage — how many of those have been checked in the latest scan (the rest are queued for the next monthly run).
  • Buy box held — how often Aran directly holds the Buy Box on scanned listings.
  • Buy-box win rate — Amazon's own measure of how often you (or your authorised distributor) win the Buy Box on your selling products. When this dips, competition or resellers are taking sales.
  • Sales exposed (90d) — your trailing-90-day sales on listings where an unauthorised seller is currently present. It's what's AT RISK, not confirmed lost.
  • Open alerts / Unauthorised sellers — how many issues currently need attention.
The other pages
  • Watchlist — the full list of your products being monitored, with each one's Buy-Box win-rate.
  • Current Offers — for each product, everyone currently selling on it and who holds the Buy Box.
  • Alerts — a log of issues: unauthorised sellers, lost Buy Box, etc., which you can mark done as you deal with them.
  • History — how sellers on each listing have changed over successive scans.
  • Reseller Directory — your allow-list of AUTHORISED sellers (you, your distributor, and Amazon's own Resale). Anyone not on this list is automatically flagged.
  • Scan History — a record of each scan and what it found.
Glossary
Buy Box
The "Add to Cart" box on a listing. The seller who "wins" it gets the vast majority of sales. You want this to be you or your authorised distributor.
Buy-box win rate
The % of the time you hold the Buy Box, from Amazon's own data.
Authorised vs Unauthorised
Authorised sellers are the accounts you've approved (on the Reseller Directory). Everyone else selling your products is unauthorised.
Seller rating & seller feedback
A seller's public Amazon reputation: their star rating (e.g. 4.5★) and the number of feedback ratings buyers have left about that seller's SERVICE across ALL their sales (e.g. "9,686 seller feedback · 84% positive"). This is NOT reviews of your product — it's a measure of how large and established that seller is. We use it to help you prioritise.
FBA / FBM
FBA means Amazon ships it from their warehouse; FBM means the seller ships it themselves.
Severity
High = the seller is winning or undercutting the Buy Box; Medium = present but not winning; Low = informational.
First seen
The date we first observed that seller on that listing.
Sales exposed
Your recent sales on listings that currently have an unauthorised seller present.
Good to know
  • Coverage is United States only for now.
  • Figures refresh with each monthly scan (or when you press Run scan now).
  • If a product shows no data, it simply means Amazon returned no active listing for it — nothing is hidden or made up.
